Without this change, we would still be producing enormous amounts of paper and distributing them in binders, memos, on bulletin boards and through the internal mail system. Keeping the paper mill running would have demanded large costs and the content would not always be up to date. In the short term we expect to cut the cost associated with paper distribution by more than 30 percent. In addition, a messy file structure with 17,000 folders will be replaced by the solution, opening up a new era of knowledge sharing.
