The Hyper.Net Object Publisher is a module integrated into Hyper.Net for storing transformed content including metadata in a ZIP file. Using a subscribed service, this file can be automatically created and stored in the file system or sent to a specified address after each update to the source data.
In the ZIP file, any content from documents and other sources prepared by Hyper.Net is provided as an XML file having a clearly defined structure. All renditions (HTML, PDF etc.), metadata and schemes, XSLT etc. are included in the file.
The data is prepared in a vendor-independent format and can be used simultaneously by a variety of systems and media for many purposes:
| |
|
|
| |
· |
Mirroring of website content in the file system
|
| |
· |
CD-ROM publications
|
| |
· |
Preparation of data and sending it to specified addresses. Developers can adapt the prepared data and integrate it simply and elegantly into existing systems (including an update mechanism)
|
The component provides an example of using content provided by the ZIP File.
