Virtual Taxonomy Manager

The Virtual Taxonomy Manager (VTM) is a tool permitting the user-friendly creation and use of (single- and multi-language) taxonomies for classifying documents and other content.
The VTM consists of 2 modules: The Taxonomie Designer (VTD) for centrally maintaining key systems and the Taxonomy Assigner (VTA) enabling users to select values and assign them to content.
Assigned taxonomy values may be used for comprehensively categorizing content in DMS, web applications or portals (e.g. for search functions, navigation and personalization).
A special GUI makes administrating taxonomies a simple task. The Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) permits a flexible application use independent of specific server technologies.
